We now offer returns via Nærboks

Consumers have long demanded the possibility of sending parcels back via a Nærboks parcel box. That is why we are now the first parcel distributor to offer this solution, in collaboration with Nordic Infrastructure.

Returns via Nærboks

E-commerce has grown significantly in recent years, and more people shop online. This has led to higher demands from consumers - they want convenience throughout the whole shopping journey. One of the biggest challenges, however, is when the item needs to be returned or exchanged.

Now Danes can return their parcels easily and more efficiently with Bring via the same Nærboks from which they picked up the parcel. This has not been possible before and we are the first parcel distributor to offer this return solution for the consumers. The solution is a result of a collaboration with Nordic Infrastructure, the company behind Nærboks.

Improved return solution

Consumers who have had a positive return experience are more likely to shop at the same store again, while a bad return experience has the opposite effect.

Returns are an important part of the shopping experience when Danes shop online.

Per Buus, Director of E-commerce and Logistics, Bring in Denmark.

- We are incredibly happy that we can now offer our customers and end consumers an improved and more transparent return process. We have removed many of the frictions that prevent consumers from returning their items even though they actually have the intention of doing so. Instead we have created a return solution that improves the entire customer experience, even after the purchase, says Per Buus.

How does it work?

If the item does not fit or live up to the customer's expectations, he/she orders a return directly in the Nærboks app. Once the return has been registered, they place the enclosed return label on the parcel and hand it in the selected Nærboks within 24 hours.

Since the Nærboks parcel boxes are located close to residential areas and have a 24/7 access, every day of the week, it is possible for the customers to make the return when it suits them.

- Return logistics is always a natural and integral part of our service development. By adding returns from Nærboks, we can offer our customers a 360-degree solution that has long been in demand. This also strengthens the after-sales experience for the end consumer. Right now we are working on making it possible to do a return from a Nærboks by using our parcel code, which means that the customer does not have to print a return label. This makes the process even more smooth for both the online stores and the end consumers, says Jens Lauge, Business Developer in Division E-commerce and Logistics, Bring in Denmark.

High demand

- Finally! We and the many thousands of daily users of Nærboks have for a long time been looking forward to a distributor expanding the use of Nærboks with the return solution. It is in high demand, and Bring thus becomes the first parcel distributor to offer this service to the largest Danish network of parcel boxes, says Lars Simonsen, CEO Nærboks/Nordic Infrastructure.

We are today connected to approximately 500 Nærboks parcel boxes and it's possible to make a return from all of those that are part of our network. Those Nærboks parcel boxes that are available for a return are automatically displayed to the customer when they order a return via the Nærboks app.
